How to Write-in Neil Poppel for Newtown Township Auditor

We have a qualified candidate for Auditor in Newtown Township. Neil Poppel has lived in Bucks County for over 30 years (ten years in Newtown Township).

He served as a US Army Medical Service Corps Lieutenant during the Viet-Nam era. He later retired from the USAR with the rank of Captain.

Neil was on the Philadelphia Regional staff of the Federal Health Care Financing Administration, serving as a Medicare Policy Analyst and Budget Analyst. The Philadelphia Regional Office oversees Medicare operations in 4 states and the District of Columbia. Mr Poppel oversaw Medicare Contractor Administrative Budgets that sometimes reached 15 million dollars. In his capacity as an Analyst he conducted Compliance Audits of Intermediary activities. After his early retirement, he served as a Medicare Hearing Officer for over 10 years.

Mr Poppel graduated from Temple University’s School of Business and Public Administration with a degree in Political Science.
